'Garage' Band: Local artists bring their best to Avondale Estates studio

AVONDALE ESTATES, Ga. - Like most great ideas, Garage Door Studio was born out of necessity.  Four Avondale Estates artists needed a storefront to sell their unique, handmade creations.  What to do?  Take over an old wrestling studio and make a space for themselves and other local designers!

Garage Door Studio in Avondale Estates now houses more than seventy local artisans, selling everything from artwork to clothes to soaps and candles.  Along with being a retail space for these established artists, Garage Door Studio is also a place for developing artists, offering workshops and classes for adults and kids.
