First Latina Miss Georgia USA hopes to take home crown

The representative from Georgia has never won Miss USA, but Marianny Egurrola wants to change that.

Egurrola is the first Latina Miss Georgia USA. She was born in Columbia but moved to the U.S. at the age of 15. She also attended the University of Georgia.

She came to Good Day Atlanta to discuss her favorite parts of the competition, making history with her win at Miss Georgia USA, and more.

The 2018 Miss USA competition airs Monday, May 21 at 8 p.m. on FOX 5 Atlanta.
