DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. - There’s an outbreak at Nightmare’s Gate Hospital, as a terrifying disease spreads way too fast for doctors to control. Some will survive…some will not. Will you make it out alive?
That’s the horror movie come to life at Nightmare’s Gate, a Douglasville haunted attraction open now through Halloween. The haunted house is located at 4179 Vansant Road in Douglasville and is a walk-through attraction geared toward fright-loving adults. According to the attraction’s website, “from the time you are through the door into the attraction you are living in a horror movie for the next 30 to 45 minutes” – and this year’s horror movie follows the CDC’s Dr. McGavock who is fighting back against the strange infection sweeping through a hospital, turning patients and staffers into monsters!
Nightmare’s Gate is open this Friday through Tuesday (Halloween) night, and admission is $25 per person. Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken wasn’t brave enough to visit at night, but he did spend the morning exploring the hospital (and, unfortunately, meeting a few of the patients!).
