Burgers with Buck: Lucky Dog Chicago Eatery

- Nine burgers competed for the title, but only one could be named the 2017 Best Burger in Suwanee by Suwanee Magazine.  #BurgersWIthBuck was honored to be among the judges for the competition, I mean let’s face it, eating nine burgers in a blind taste test, in one sitting is right up our alley.

Burgers with Buck: Whiskey Bird

The winner…The Cowboy Burger from Lucky Dog Chicago Eatery.  The Cowboy Burger is described as a double patty smothered in American cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon, onion rings, and a house-made chipotle aioli all on a toasted brioche bun.

So here’s the deal…Lucky Dog Chicago Eatery is a place known for great hot dogs.  The new owner is a school teacher by trade, from New York.  So it just makes sense that a New York school teacher who owns a Chicago-style hot dog restaurant, boasts the best burger in Suwanee. Only in America, right?

Burgers with Buck: Table and Main

Actually, the Cowboy Burger is a creation that is modeled off their popular Cowboy Dog.  Owner and manager Lori Casal thought that if bacon, rings, BBQ sauce, and Chipotle sauce made for a great combination of a dog, then why not on a burger.  Her hunch was right because now the Cowboy Burger has been recognized locally.
