Burgers with Buck: Hoyle's Kitchen and Bar

- Is there anything worse than ordering bacon on your burger and then not having the wonderful taste of bacon in every bite?  Well, there probably are worse things, but you have to immediate it is a rather frustrating, first-world problem.  Take heart, bacon and burger lovers, the fine folks at Hoyle’s Kitchen and Bar in Marietta have found a solution to this dilemma, and #BurgersWIthBuck is pleased to tell you about it.

Two words for you…Bacon Weave. Yes, you heard that right, bacon weave.  It was an idea born in Savannah when Chef Zach Starr was living and working there. 

Sounds interesting right, but in the words of the great Ron Popeil, but wait there’s more.  The bacon weave is not between the buns of the Hoyle‘s Burger, but rather on top of the bun.  Visually, it is really cool and different, and #BWB can attest that it lives up to the billing of ‘bacon in every bite’.

The Hoyle’s Burger starts with a blend of ground chuck, short rib, and brisket, seasoned with among other things, Sweetwater 420.  Between the buns, you’ll also find lettuce, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, and tomato jam, and then the star of the show, the woven bacon and a pickle on top.  One other nugget for you, make sure you check out the homemade tater tots. You may never eat frozen ones again.
