Burgers with Buck: D.B.A. Barbecue

For the second straight week, #BurgersWithBuck paid a visit to a local BBQ restaurant.  You probably know that D.B.A. Barbecue in Virginia Highland is an Atlanta staple known for good times and great BBQ, but did you know that it is also a great place to grab a burger?  You do now.

The Jimbo, named after a regular customer, starts with a half-pound of Certified Angus beef brisket that is ground in-house daily and served on a Brioche bun.  They’ve got your attention already, don’t they?

In the words of the late Karen Carpenter, “We’ve only just begun”.

Add hash browns/tater tots, queso cheese sauce, sweet BBQ sauce, and sliced jalapeno, and you get the idea.

If there is one thing #BWB has learned, it’s that burgers and BBQ go hand-in-hand, and many times you’ll find a fantastic burger at a restaurant that specializes in Que.

So the next time you go to D.B.A., and perhaps you’re just not in the mood for delicious brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc…they have four different burgers on the menu including a build your own option.  Also, make sure to tell the owner, Matt Coggin, that Burgers With Buck sent you.

And, as always, if you have a favorite burger that you would like to see featured on, tell me about it on https://www.facebook.com/BuckFOX5 or https://twitter.com/BuckFOX5, and don't forget to use the hahashtagBurgersWithBuck and/or #BWB.
