The Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama presented by RacingJunk.com takes place Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton.  The event is billed as "Georgia's Motoring Festival," and celebrates basically anything with a motor in it.  Attractions at this year's show include a 40th anniversary celebration of Smokey and the Bandit featuring a replica of the Bandit's 1977 Trans-Am, two planes from the Army Aviation Heritage Museum, performances by TeamFMX Freestyle Motocross, and appearances by the legendary BIGFOOT Monster Truck.  Car show participants can also take part in the Panasonic Automotive Autocross, a timed competition in which cars compete against the clock on a defined course.  Tickets are just $12 per day, $5 for kids aged 6 to 11, and free for those 5 and under.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at Atlanta Motor Speedway getting a preview of this year's big event.
