Atlanta dinner theatre serves up 30 seasons of mystery

The name “Agatha” is synonymous with mystery, and not just because of a certain world-famous author.  Here in Atlanta, Agatha’s – A Taste of Mystery has been serving up hilarious tales of murder and mayhem for 30 years, and it's honoring the milestone with a show all about awards!

Agatha’s kicks off its 30th anniversary season with And The Winner Is…Murder!, written by John D. Babcock III, directed by Ryan Girard, and running through April 25th.  The comedy-mystery takes place at a glitzy awards show – you’ve heard of the Excellence in Motion Picture and Television Awards (aka the EMPTYS), right?  -- and begins as the biggest director in Hollywood is murdered.  Whodunit?  That’s up to the audience at Agatha’s to help figure out, as guests both take part in the show and enjoy a five-course meal.  After spending several years in its original location near the Fox Theatre, Agatha’s moved to a new space at 161 Peachtree Center Avenue back in 2005.  Shows are performed at 7:30 p.m.  on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 3:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken has always thought of himself as something of an amateur sleuth, so he decided to spend the morning at Agatha’s – A Taste of Mystery doing a little detective work!
