Atlanta 'Customs Agent' Sniffs Way Through International Terminal

After nine years of service, one of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's officers is hanging up his badge.

"Vince" the Beagle is just one of several dogs on the force and before he ends his career, we wanted to see just how valuable his work is at the airport!

He has served in Philadelphia and for the past five years has been on the job at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. His small size allows Vince to easily weave in and out of the crowds. He and his human partner, Christyne Ford have been a team for five years.

"He loves to work, he works for treats and as you can tell... he really likes the job!" said Ford.

Recently, he seized an unfinished 'leopard skin' from a traveler and snails from Italy.

When he retires in a few weeks, he'll make his permanent home with another border protection agent.
