Attention thrifters: Weekend 'treasure' hunt happening in Sandy Springs

Tossed out Treasures celebrates 25 years
If you're a fan of thrift stores or love spending hours digging through antique shops, an event this weekend has your name all over it.
Tossed Out Treasures is the longest-running fundraiser for The Sandy Springs Society, an organization of women supporting community non-profits in Sandy Springs. The annual event is dubbed "Atlanta's ultimate upscale resale event" -- offering an enormous assortment of gently-used, upscale items for sale. This includes thousands of items, from clothes to accessories, jewelry to books, and sports equipment to household items. This year is the 25th anniversary of Tossed Out Treasures, and takes place on February 26th and 27th at the former Marshall's at 6317 Roswell Road.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning getting a look at this year's big event -- and doing a little "treasure-hunting" himself.
