Chances are you've played it while tailgating or at a backyard barbecue. But if you're ready to take cornhole to the next level, it's time for a trip to Gwinnett County.
Gwinnett Cornhole was founded back in 2013, and has grown from less than ten teams in Suwanee to more than 90 competing in several locations across the county. The organization offers eight-week leagues in all four seasons, and the winter leagues launch January 4th through the 7th. Teams consist of two to four, and anybody is welcome to register online. Oh, and just in case you're not sure -- cornhole is basically a bean-bag toss where participants try to toss a bag through a whole in a board.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning in Suwanee Town Center Park, getting a few lessons from Gwinnett Cornhole League members.
