It's one of Atlanta's best-loved landmarks, and with so much history, there's bound to be a few ghosts haunting the stage and dressing rooms of the Fox Theatre.
This week, the decades-old performing space is opening up for its third annual series of Fox Theatre Ghost Tours. From Sunday, October 25th through Thursday, October 29th, visitors will get guided tours through generally off-limits parts of the theatre, including dressing rooms, power room, and the stage freight elevator. Along the way, guides will tell stories of the ghosts that reportedly haunt the Fox, including Roosevelt, who believers say passed away in 1945 and has haunted the Fox Theatre boiler room ever since. The hour-long tours are scheduled to run up to every 20 minutes, and tickets are $30 each.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken has spent plenty of time conducting interviews at the Fox Theatre -- but never with a spirit! He spent the morning there, doing a little ghostbusting of his own.
