ATLANTA - If you think bartending is as easy as "measure-measure-pour" -- you might want to stop by Hard Rock Café Atlanta this week. The BARocker regionals are happening Thursday, and will place the spotlight on the men and women who put the "art" in bartending.
Hard Rock Café's BARocker is an annual competition that pits bartenders from Hard Rock Café locations against each other in a battle of showmanship and flair. Bartenders from the southeast will be represented Thursday night, judged on various elements including recipe knowledge, accuracy, and speed. The winner will then head to Hard Rock’s annual Global Conference, where he or she will compete in the worldwide finals. For the second year, BARocker will benefit a great cause -- Hard Rock Café Atlanta is partnering with The Giving Kitchen, which provides help to Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.
