They are the three B's essential to a perfect southern weekend: barbecue, bourbon, and bands. And those were the ingredients for an annual event at one of Atlanta's top restaurants last weekend.
On Sunday, October 9, Local Three presented "Roast a Fatty V: A Good Day to Roast Hard."
The 5th annual event
took place on the restaurant's Garden Terrace Patio, and featured a whole pig roasted in a La Caja China box, which is a Cuban style of roasting pigs. Along with the all-you-can-eat pork, the event featured Wild Heaven craft beer, Bulleit Bourbon drinks, and live music.
Ahead of the event, Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken stopped by Local Three..and somehow ended up behind the camera while photographer Blaze Meier mixed up a special bourbon drink of his own!
