ATLANTA - With a history that stretches back to 1929, there are plenty of ghost stories centered around Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. And some special tours this month will take visitors behind-the-scenes, right to the heart of those chilling tales.
The Fox Theatre Ghost Tours are taking place on several dates now through October 30, with tours leaving every 20 minutes and lasting about an hour. Guides will take brave guests through some of the darkest corners of the theatre, revealing the stories of spirits that staffers say haunt the halls. Those spirits include Roosevelt, who used to work in the boiler room, and Mary, who is rumored to haunt the theatre’s old hospital room.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent some time exploring the Fox Theatre and learning more about the men and women who loved the theatre so much…they refuse to leave!
