JLA grants

- The Junior League of Atlanta said they will be awarding $1 million in grants to non-profit organizations in the metro.

Junior League of Atlanta President Deanna Anderson said the grants are part of the organization’s 100th year. Anderson said there are so many deserving organizations that there are going to be some tough decisions.

The JLA is also very heavily involved in working to stop human trafficking and the Safe Harbor Yes amendment on the ballot this November.

The Little Black Dress challenge is also coming up next month. It was an event which all started with Junior League in London.

Any organization interested in receiving a grant can file an application at jla100.org. All applications must be in by Sept. 19.
