The Good Day Atlanta team participated in the annual pumpkin challenge Wednesday morning, and the competition was fierce this year!

Contestants: Joanne Feldman, Buck Lanford, Paul Milliken, Ron Gant, Sharon Lawson, Natalie Fultz, and Portia Bruner.

The challenge began with a delicious donut display from Buck Lanford, a creepy clown from Paul Milliken, and Portia Bruner's thrifty gourd which doubled as a bank.

Next up were Natalie Fultz's patriotic pumpkin and Sharon Lawson's "sweet" KitKat black cat display.

The final pumpkins included Joanne Feldman's impressive hot air balloon and Ron Gant's howl-a-ween werewolf.

All of the pumpkins were incredibly creative; however, there can only be ONE winner.

This year's winner of the 2018 Good Day Atlanta Pumpkin Challenge was... Paul Milliken's "Carvey the Clown." Joanne and Buck were tied for second, and Natalie's patriotic pumpkin came in third.

We did things a little differently this year, allowing our viewers to vote in the Good Day Atlanta group on Facebook. However, celebrity guest actor Joel Rush said he would have voted for Joanne when he announced the winners Wednesday morning.
