Atlanta, GA - Prissy Tomboy uses sports and other outdoor adventures to help young girls be their best. Founder Tracey Pearson says when girls try new adventures it helps build their confidence. "Young girls are stronger than they think, we do various activities to help them realize their potential," says Pearson.
Pearson says she started Prissy Tomboy after realizing preteen and teen girls were dropping out of sports at an alarming rate. While other girls were too afraid to get involved.
Prissy Tomboy has many clinics for girls including self-defense classes. They've also partnered with many organized sports groups, so girls can take part in everything from rock climbing to paddle boarding to archery. "Our mission is to keep girls healthy, active and make them feel empowered, recognized and supported," says Pearson.
