DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - I-285 East at the Spaghetti Junction I-85 interchange was shut down during part of the Tuesday morning rush hour due to a police investigation after a person jumped off an overpass, according to authorities.
Traffic was routed off onto the Exit 33 ramp to I-85. Motorists used that route to stay on I-285 East bound and South bound.
The eastbound lanes of I-285 re-opened around 8 a.m., about 90 minutes after the person jumped.
