Bodycam video: Foot chase for possible gunman
Body camera video from Duluth Police officers shows the urgent search for a possible gunman through a local neighborhood.
Police said the manhunt occurred on March 15, after police said a thief brandished what appeared to be a handgun outside the Wal-Mart on Pleasant Hill Road.
Police said 27-year-old Earl Purnell was approached by loss prevention officers and brandished the possible weapon, sending employees running for cover. Officers later learned that device was a BB gun that was stolen from inside the store.Read the full article

Hawaii could become first state to ban most plastics in restaurants
Hawaii would be the first state in the U.S. to ban most plastics at restaurants under legislation that aims to cut down on waste that pollutes the ocean.
Dozens of cities nationwide have banned plastic foam containers, but Hawaii's measure targeting fast-food and full-service restaurants would make it the first state to do so. The liberal state has a history of prioritizing the environment - it's mandated renewable energy use and prohibited sunscreen ingredients that harm coral.
A second, more ambitious proposal would go even further and prohibit restaurants, stores, wholesalers and government agencies from distributing and using plastic drink bottles, utensils, stirring sticks, bags and straws.Read the full article
