ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are searching for two men involved in a violent rape and robbery, in which a woman was assaulted with a stun gun, attacked and left unconscious.
Police said the ordeal happened Wednesday night in the area of Kimberly Way SW.
Police said as the woman in her 30s was riding in a gray Ford F-150 with two men, one of the men used a stun gun on her neck; once the vehicle was in the area of Kimberly Way, the woman was forced out of the vehicle into the woods by the man who deployed the stun gun. The report stated he forced himself on the woman and choked her until she passed out.
Once the woman regained consciousness, she found all her clothes, phone, ID and four-hundred dollars in cash taken.
The woman walked and flagged down a passerby for help, who then called 911. Police responded to the Ashley Cascades apartment complex to meet the victim, who was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
No word from police on a description of the two men, or how she knew them or encountered them.
