GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The Gwinnett County Police have found a missing Georgia couple after sending out a Mattie's Call for them Saturday.
Leatrice and Robert Bartholomew were found in Anderson County, South Carolina. Authorities say they are both healthy and there were no signs of foul play.
Family members were worried after Leatrice and Robert left their residence at approximately 4 p.m. on November 10 and had not returned. The family told officers that both Leatrice and Robert suffer from diminished mental capacities and left the house in their blue 2016 Kia Optima (Georgia tag RCV0703).
Officers learned that Leatrice had not been taking her normal medication and her behavior in the days prior to leaving became erratic.
The couple did not return to the house last night and there has not been any contact with them.
Leatrice is a white female approximately 5’05 in height and 135 pounds in weight. She has black hair but often wears a blonde wig. She was last seen wearing a purple velvet shirt and black pants. Robert is approximately 5’10 in height and 170 pounds in weight. He has gray hair with blue eyes, and he was last seen wearing a multi-colored button-up flannel shirt with slacks.
