SPOKANE, Wash. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - There's a saying that goes "if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
Well, one man in Washington state has decided he's standing up ... for Little Caesars.
Eric Hennies is determined to save the pizza location that's closing near his Spokane home.
"I saw it on the news and I was like, 'No! Little Caesars! You're gonna be gone," Hennies said. "Where am I gonna get my pizza? Where am I gonna get my Hot-N-Readies?'"
The pizza restaurant is located inside a K-Mart.
The store is closing and, as a result, so is the Little Caesars.
Hennies said he was "devastated" and knew he had to do something.
"We have a candlelight vigil on the second. It's their last day," he said. "We're gonna try to get the district manager to refranchise and buy a location somewhere close."
In addition to refranchising, Hennies is also pushing to have U-Haul, which is taking over the building after the K-Mart closes, allow the pizza chain to stay.
