COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A murder mystery in Cobb County as police search for a suspect considered armed and dangerous with some very distinct tattoos on his face.
It happened Saturday night just before six thirty, a fatal shooting on the side of the Save N Go Food Mart at Austell and Pat Mell Roads in Cobb County.
A father, who didn’t want his name used, stopped at the store shortly afterward with his two young sons.
“They got shot over there and they ran over there and collapsed and died. I got kids here. I got a wife at home, I’m here, this stuff gotta stop you can’t be shooting people over no fights,” said the man.
Cobb County Police say the victim 25-year-old Jack Myles, appears to have been in a confrontation outside the store with the suspect, 27-year-old Cordale Jefferson.
“It appears that there was at least some kind of altercation, people don’t obviously show up and start shooting each other,” said Officer Sarah O’Hara.
She said robbery was not involved. Officer O’Hara said Jefferson is considered armed and dangerous and has tattoos of two teardrops under one eye and a money bag symbol under the other.
And there’s the Tattoo across his forehead.
“He has B-A-D-A-Z-Z. It’s all on his face it’s hard to hide it so we’re hoping somebody will see those unique tattoos.
Police are urging anyone with information on the tattooed suspect to give them a call.
Many around the store told FOX 5 News they didn’t want to talk, except Eva and Tony, a handicapped couple who were at the store.
“I’m sorry that somebody got shot and killed that’s sad,” said Eva.
The couple, who said they will be married soon, also told FOX 5 News they are asking neighbors to ‘say something if they know something’ about the fatal shooting and the distinctive looking suspect.
“If you know what happened, say something, you can do it anonymously, you don’t have to snitch, that’s doing the right thing,” said Tony.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cordale Johnson to call the Cobb County Police Department.
