The Earful Tower at Disney's Hollywood Studios is no more

ORLANDO, Fla. - Disney announced back in January 2016 that the Earful Tower would be taken down as part of the plans to redevelop the park.

The Earful Tower was removed this month. The area of land that the tower occupied will soon be home to Toy Story Land.  It was in place when Disney’s MGM Studios opened on May 1, 1989, and it was there through April 28, 2016.

The tower itself never actually did hold any water, it nevertheless remained an original, captivating symbol of Walt Disney World in Florida.
