Spring Break Adventures: Trekking The Silver Comet Trail

It's Day 3 of our look at Spring Break adventure ideas, and today we're ditching our four wheels and settling for just two!

The Silver Comet Trail is a paved trail popular among cyclists, running 61.5 miles from Smyrna all the way to the Georgia/Alabama state line. That means the trail crosses through Cobb, Paulding, and Polk counties before crossing into Alabama and connecting to the Chief Ladiga Trail. Folks who need some help gearing up for the trip can find it at Silver Comet Cycles in Mableton.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken decided to hop on a bike and explore the trail. For more information on Silver Comet Trail click here For more information for Silver Comet Cycles click here

Consumer Report: New regulations for hot water heaters may require you to upsize your budget and your utility closet. The new standards are from the Dept. of Energy and require that tank top hot water heaters manufactured after April 16th be more efficient. To make them so, they'll be bigger.
