Fourth of July Outlook

- Hot, humid, and a small chance of showers all included in your holiday forecast. You can expect a very summer like feel for the entire long weekend.

The extreme heat will be the headline all weekend long. Average seasonal highs are the upper 80s.  However, we will be in the mid 90s throughout the holiday. The high heat and humidity does bring a small chance of afternoon pop up showers.

The rain chance is only 20% on Sunday and 30% on Monday but even then there will be more dry hours than wet hours. Fireworks on Sunday and Monday could be impacted, but just where is impossible to tell due to the scattered nature of the storms.

The Peachtree Road Race should not be impacted since the t-shower activity will be mainly driven by the heating of the day.
