New Peachtree Sports Festival Aims To Inspire Kids: It's a first-time event that hopes to inspire kids to participate in youth athletics -- and if your child is searching for his or her perfect sport, this might be the place to find it.
The Peachtree Sports Festival happens on Saturday at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The event is modeled after a similar event in Nashville, and exposes kids to a wide range of sports. The Festival will feature Youth Sports Clinics hosted by pro instructors, and a speaker series spotlighting pro and college sports figures from. around the Southeast. Organizers say the Youth Sports Clinics will highlight 12 sports -- including archery, baseball, basketball, fishing, football, gymnastics, lacrosse, martial arts, running, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
